Motivational Speaker and Accredited Lecturer

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER AND ACCREDITED LECTURER

Angela has talked at countless schools, colleges, societies, conferences and been part of public lecture programmes from the Bristol Festival of Ideas - The Forgiveness Project conversation: Long Shadows of the Past and Surviving Intergenerational Trauma in 2016  to the National Army Museum’s 2019 inaugural Chelsea History Festival and its 2020 Foe to Friend programme of lectures.

As an accredited Arts Society lecturer, over 150 of her talks have regularly been rated “outstanding” or “the best talk we’ve ever had.”

All my illustrated talks:

  • present viewpoints from the ‘other side’ of familiar narratives.
  • reveal perspectives that lie between, beyond and beneath the apparent facts.
  • demonstrate the role the arts can play in bringing about personal, cultural, societal and systemic healing and change.
  • leave audiences of all ages and interests with plenty to think about.

My talks generally last for 45mins - 1 hour, but can be adapted to fit individual timeframes.

“Exceptionally good, even by NAM's high standards.”

“At nearly 86 my wife and I do not expect to have transformational experiences, but your talk was just that.”

Incredibly interesting to hear perspectives I had never thought about before. Kept an entire year of teenagers engaged, we were all fascinated.
